he NAJ Group has announced that the RTO Summit West February 21-22 at the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey, Los Angeles—will highlight “Buy-The-Minute,” a unique feature at its marketplace luncheon: Rather than have a single sponsor for the luncheon and its program, the event will showcase multiple presentations in one, two or three minute segments.
“We want to make it more affordable for travel suppliers to present to all the tour operators who attend,” explained Jake Steinman, CEO of the NAJ Group, pointing out that all presentations will be timed beforehand so that no one runs over their time limit. “While audiences seem to quickly lose interest in 15-20 minute sponsor presentations, featuring a diverse variety of time-restricted presentations may be a good solution.
“The ‘Buy-The-Minute’ sponsorships, available to any registered attendee, ensures a quick moving program-one that has the feel of a variety show full of creative components,” Steinman added. “If it’s successful, we will include it in future NAJ events.” The audience for the luncheon program on February 22, 2018, will be a select group; last year’s edition drew 210 delegates, including 85 tour operators.
